About smile event photography

Smile was set up in March 2008 by myself, Frances Newman. I have always been interested in photography and started on a professional level in the Middle East back in the early 90s. Back in the UK I became involved with the school and college market and photographing families and children in a variety of poses, formal or contemporary.

I still do a lot of colleges and schools but also have moved into the Event Photography market and cover a variety of events such as black-tie functions, birthday parties, photo-shoots for families/groups, corporate events, proms, balls, sailing, rugby etc..

I own a rib boat so I enjoy covering different water events, getting involved with the cadet weeks at my local sailing club and covering other sailing events.
